I have just realised that I am missing a great chance to write something new and fresh every day during this photo challenge. I am NOT a photographer - I am a writer! So, I am going to use this challenge to challenge myself to write something groovy and cool and fresh for each of the photos I take....

Day 7: Fruit

The Orange

When I eat an orange these are the things I think of:

• vitamins surging into my body
• eating a little bit of sunshine
• my very stylish friend's slow cooked beef ragout with grated orange on top
• knowing that my hands will smell of orange after devouring one
• Holland - and that my mum used to get an orange for Christmas when she was a child
• buying oranges grown in Spain when we lived in London
• Cricket and those breaks they take for oranges and drinks
• When we first got married, Mr Cool and I used to eat an orange after breakfast everyday. Mr Cool thought it was hilarious that I was able to cut my orange into 7 equal sections
• Oranges make me think of goodness and wholeness and completeness and all things healthy and invigorating
