- Eat less - obvious, but this is the start. To lose weight, you need to control what goes into your mouth!
- Eat porridge or eggs for breakfast - having a hearty breakfast is a great way to ensure that you don't reach for the biscuits at 9 o'clock.
- Choose only fruit & veg for either morning or afternoon tea - or both! - high in fibre and so good for you
- Bulk up meals with lots of vegetables - vegetables are bulky so they fill you up, they are full of essential vitamins and minerals.
- Eat a low fat, nutritious soup for lunch - add buttered toast or crackers if you are hungry.
- While cooking dinner, eat a raw carrot and drink water - there is nothing that says 'sabotage' like sitting down for dinner and being absolutely starving. By having something healthy in your stomach will help you feel full and reduce the amount you eat for dinner.
- Exercise whenever you can - whether it is pushing a pram, running on a treadmill, or walking with a friend - just do it.
- Drink loads of water - did you know that your body can't tell the difference between hunger and thirst? It is easy enough to drink water before grabbing a snack.
- Take a multivitamin - it is just healthy to do this everyday, especially in Australia with our depleted soils.
- During meals, put your fork down and enjoy the ambiance of the meal - in other words, slow down, enjoy it, make meal times about communication rather than scoffing food.
Did I miss anything?

Another great tip I have heard is to drink a cup of healthy soup just before dinner, they are low in calories and fill you up a little so that you will not be starving for dinner.
Great tips B!
Thanks for the tips. No wonder you have lost weight and look great. :)
